Please tell me you did this too...

So while sifting through these old memories I found a real gem. Do you remember when we were all younger and the internet was still relatively a new concept for communication? Well, I hope that many of you out there shared the same past time as myself. I used to spend my days hanging out in chat rooms making fun of people...which then led itself to me posting an ad on a dating website, just for the hell of it. Seriously... with all the stuff I did in high school, I have no idea where I found to time to fit that into my schedule. However, I came across one of the pictures of a guy I had printed out from a dating website called kiss.com. Pathetic, I think not...Hilarious, I think yes!

To clarify, majority of the time I believe was spent making fake responses to send to dorky guys by my friends and myself. However, and quite sadly, once in a blue moon I took it seriously. Hence the picture I still have printed out...OMG. Apparently, there was a boy on this site that at the time was 22, I was 15 mind you, that I thought looked like a young Ben Affleck...and due to memory loss I don't know what happened, but I have a printed email from this dude and let me tell you...OMFG, sooooooooooo funny! Don't let looks fool you...that's tip numero uno and secondly, this guy was such an idiot. However, I vaguely remember being really impressed by him at the time because he was older and I thought he was cute. Needless to say, the guy went to I.T.T Tech, was a terrible speller and worked at a computer "plant" in Chandler. I'm sad to know that I don't have other older posts from what I used to spend my time doing, but no need to fear...I'm totally scanning this old email and picture onto this blog because frankly, it needs to be shared with the whole wide world.

If any of you have the same type of situation or hilarious internet story, please share! I can't wait to hear any old gems you might still have lingering around! God Bless the internet and most importantly, God bless the early years circa late 90s to 2003. Those years should go down in history as the funniest and most exciting times on the world wide web...seriously.
